He is the author of various publications on commercial law, international law and copyright law. He has been a professor of commercial law and private international law at the International University of Catalonia . He currently teaches at Open University of Catalonia and La Salle .
His posts include: former Chairman of the Entertainment and Copyright Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), and Arbitrator for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the American Film Market Association (AFMA).
